HFFR Mining Cable
Our HFFR rubber jacketing compound JC300FR features smooth extrusion, good mechanical properties and excellent oil ( ASTM 2#) resistance.


It is targeted in mining cable market such as jade, diamond, rare earth, mineral wax etc,. With increasing needs for eco, safer and reliable electricity connection, total cost is also a big consideration.


Appren 300 is such a material with above demands compounded in. The finished HFFR cable is comparable in physical, chemical performance and cost versus its halogen cousins.

35KV wind cable Extrution in Shangdong, China
One major Cable company in China successfully lunches MV wind cable project this summer. They utilize Applast’ 35KV EP for ultra clean insulation combined with inner, outer semicon and sheathing compounds to extrude this complicated performance cable.

Applast’ role in wind power generation
China’ green power reformation has been in a huge part of world’ green economy. And it’s up & running for a decade. Ten years ago Applast supply 3KV cable materials to the industry.

Nearly 5 years ago we upgrade these compounds to 10KV and the turbine loads more power thus the green electric system runs better efficiency.

Nowadays we’ve updated our materials with higher voltage grade such as 35KV and 66KV. The downstream system runs in a higher power such as 12 MV or 16 MV.




At the end of 2024, we have implanted some core technology in our compounding process such as reciprocal mixing and shearing, powder coating, cleaner calendaring, etc. to ensure higher electric grades. 110KV wind flexible cable has been tested and uploaded in certain testing systems.

JC288FR:HFFR Cable Sheath for Oil Drilling Platform

Screenshot The material is a halogen free low smoke sheath compound resistant to dual oils (902#, 903#) at -40°C, designed for frequency conversion cables on oil drilling platforms. The finished cable exhibits a smooth and soft surface, with properties including resistance to mineral oil, engine oil, flame, sunlight, abrasion, low temperatures, moisture, and salt spray. This material not only meets the stringent requirements of oil drilling platforms but also addresses common industry issues such as surface scorching and extrusion flow defects in halogen-free, low-smoke sheath products, positioning it as an industry-leading solution.

IC1045 Medium/High-Voltage Thin Type Insulation EPR

This material is primarily used for 66kV-rated voltage torsion-resistant flexible cables in wind power generation, as well as lightweight 35kV-rated torsion-resistant flexible cables. The product offers excellent electrical performance, torsion resistance, salt spray resistance, and other characteristics, making it suitable for use in onshore or offshore wind turbines with a capacity of over 5MW. It has been applied in projects across wind farms in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, and other domestic locations, as well as in European wind farms. The development and application of this material have set a global benchmark for medium- and high-voltage ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) material technology, driving advancements in high-capacity offshore wind power technology and promoting the high-quality, rapid development of the global wind power industry.
